hey rog... speaking of editing quilts.... i did have to explain the difference between a rough cut and a final edit to some older folks who couldn't quite "imagine" how the final edits would look. so the analogy was like sewing... this video is basted together, i told them... and later you'll have fine french seams and tight stiches etc. ...

i thought it was a good analogy. but they still didn't really get it.
