Yes, I second the notion that the Andrews Sisters did "One Meatball" on a 78 sometime in the WW II era. The "One Fishball" version is aka, I believe "A Boston Tragedy," and yes, I was surprised to learn that it dates to the late 1800s. So does "The Cat Came Back" (minus the A-bomb verse, of course) which I at first naively assumed was a sixties thing, recorded, I think, by Tim Morgan. Chicken Charlie
