G'day Leadfingers - been a while. Prices over here are roughly equivalent to those of similar type Maton. For example - I'm looking at a fairly standard, non-cutaway dreadnought style, steel-string acoustic. NO electronics so I'm not interested in the acoustic/electric types (which all appear to be cutaways). In a Maton I'd be looking at the 225 or 325 styles (being the only ones I can afford: and the 325 would be pushing the boundaries of my $$$ limit VERY severely. 225's tend toward the $800 (about 370 Pounds) mark while the 325's push the $1100 (510 Pounds) boundary. However, in the Cole Clark, I a looking at about $1,000 (460 Pounds) and the quality of the instrument - even new and not played in, feels and sounds as good as (or even better than) any Maton 325 I've played around with. Last I heard of yourself you were doing gigs over in the Colonies - how'd you go? Muttley (JohnW)
