I'm with Ed. I started off an admirer, thought Hourglass was quite a good album. However, I became dis-illusioned with the second album and further disappointed after seeing her at a lacklustre gig with JM and AC - now I know you can't base an opinion on one gig, but I had seen her before. For me, and I stress for me, the sound and approach is two-dimensional in both the arrangments/material and the singing. On the same score I don't expect anyone to share my tastes. Kate has done well and she has given much pleasure to many people, that's a good thing, isn't it?
