Walkabout (re: 07:26 post) - you forgot the 'In the night garden' Wapperflapper fiddle and 'The Tweenies' applewobble fiddle. I must be watching too much cbeebies ! I live in Merseyside and I think things are pretty good here. When I organise a gig, there are about 20 clubs/ sessions within the Merseyside/ Lancashire area that I send flyers too, and all seem established, long running, well attended etc. Going tomorrow night to see Bella Hardy at The Clarence in Preston, I'll do a survey.
