Oh, they've announced the scheduled lineup for the "final" Nordic Roots Festival in Minneapolis. I say "final" because after this year, the festival will focus on a differest region each year. They say they'll get back to Scandinavian music, eventually, but who knows when. It's 25-28 Sep 2008, by the way. Is that four days? It is! :D

Anyways, since the world may very well end if I miss listing a NRF lineup in this thread even once, here's who'll be there:

My current favourite band, Detektivbyrån; The great Finnish/Norwegian group Frigg; The legendary Hedningarna; Closing the NRF for the third time in a row, Hoven Droven; The amazing Garmarna/Hedningarna side project, Hurdy-Gurdy; The lovely Ranarim; Harmoniumtastic folk-gods Triakel; Those two arrogant dicks + one nice guy, Väsen (presumably, it's still the trio); and "Waltz With Me," apparently an "all star" group, featuring Annbørg Lien, Bruce Molsky, Mats Edén, and Christine Hanson.

Yeah, so, that's fucking insane, by the way. Best NRF lineup... ever, I think. Eek.
