Many thanks to Andy Teter for all he is doing now, and for his thoughtful posts. A number of people are working to co-ordinate the various things that need to be done, since Dick had no family in the area. Dick and his hurdy-gurdy were "an institution" at the Washington Folk Festival, and if it can be worked out there will be a short remembrance of him there. If there isn't a formal one on the stages, there will certainly be an informal one in the picnic picking area! In addition we're thinking of a special memorial event for him (possibly at the Washington Ethical Society, our main venue for many years), with lots of group singing in his honor. We'll post information on this thread as events develop. Rita F
