Just some advise/ ideas from the local folk fans. I suggested Hessle Town Hall as a venue to Simon who puts on concerts at Saltaire. So far Dervish have played and Salsa Celtica .The next band will be top Irish /American band SOLUS on 30th May. Its a new venue for folk events or concerts in general and I really want it to be a sucess as in recent years this area has lost the Playhouse which often had concerts and Beverley Memorial Hall is soon to be demolished.Its great not to have to travel out of town to listen to something top quality.Any suggestions from the Hull tribe as to how publicise the events would be really welcome.
