"currently accounts for 1/6 of total world power generation - unless that includes hydroelectric" If you count the dynamos in cars, trucks, planes trains and boats along with diesel generators, you might get that kind of figure. I doubt its just wind and solar. This is an excellent talk on Nuclear Energy and the Environment.
