To Richard Bridge: I should have your telly checked out. Benji was playing the banjo in a staccato, muted - not open stringed way and was CLEARLY audible but was almost percussive. I remember exactly the shot of which you write and it cleared up the "what's making that sound" question for me. I think you maybe don't expect to hear it played like that so didn't register it. martin ellison
