Exactly---Rich was doing a 2 hr countdown of the top songs of that year---and, as always, a perfect segue so I could start with a tribute to Ira Tucker (Dixie Hummingbirds) who passed away a few weeks back. A piece featuring Mr. Tucker, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder. Hope you caught some of the rest of the program---including the politics, Erik Darling,calypso, and the look back at the 1950s at a local radio station that featured that kind of eclectic mix. The playlist should be up on the web site tomorrow. Bill Hahn
