Greetings - Celebrate Labor Day in San Francisco with a concert by Holdstock and Macleod: "Songs Of Sea Labor." It'll be held on mMnday, September 1st, 12 noon -1:30, aboard the historic square-rigger Balclutha, berthed at Hyde Street Pier. Admission is simply the cost of boarding the ships at Hyde Street Pier: adults, $5, ages 15 and under (must be accompanied by and adult), free. Free with national park passes. No reservations. Tickets may be purchased day of show from the ticket booth, located halfway up Hyde Street Pier. Some of you know, or know of, Holdsatock and Macleod, but if not, this concert serves as an excellent example of their art. Dick Holdstock and Allan Macleod sing traditional songs of their homelands of Englkand and Scotland, accompanying themselves on guitar and mandolin, as well as singing a cappella.
