Bill D: your musings have prompted me to investigate what the German language does about the verb "to blog". In German, in the Present Tense, it goes: ich blogge, du bloggst, er/sie/es bloggt, wir bloggen, ihr bloggt, sie bloggen, Sie bloggen. Past Tenses: ich bloggte, du bloggtest ...[und so weiter] and past participle: gebloggt (z.B. ich habe die ganze Nacht gebloggt). Presumably the subjunctive would take an umlaut "bloegge" (oe meaning o + Umlaut here) The noun "Blog" in German is masculine: der Blog. Probably in line with the latest announcement from France in the UK news this week that they have done an about-turn and are now promoting the learning and use of English, the French language uses the verb "bloguer" - je blogue, tu blogues etc. Sacre bleu ! - jeanie
