Abby Sale happy? - Oct 12 (Zachariah Mallory Day) (7) RE: happy? - Oct 12 (Zachariah Mallory Day) 07 Sep 08

Oh, we never actually claimed Infallibility. Just near-perfect rendition of the "facts" as they have become revealed to us.

This is, indeed, a "Day," as in "National Nuts Day." But we can easily see that we brought confusion in this matter. Under normal Happy File Rules, a "Day" should be posted under 'Happy!' and not under 'happy?' as it was placed here. We deeply apologize for generating confusion.

On review, we see that Cyril Tawney's Birthday was used for the Oct 12th 'Happy!' and obviously that must stand.

We seem to recall this was a compromise although the actual reason we do things is not always clear. (At least, according to Ancient Spouse, it's not.) ZM Day is an actual "Day" in the source material BUT it is not a Day according to any official government or religious body.

BTW, the actual hospital (apparently) came to be named "Public Hospital for Persons of Insane and Disordered Minds." In 1841, the name of the hospital changed to the much kinder title, "Eastern Lunatic Asylum."

(You may notice that we've stuck "seems to" and "apparently" all over this response.)

OTOH, maybe we're just getting old; but you know, long ago, we used to be a young man. Happy Michael Smith's Birthday! Sept 7, 1941.

Thanks for your interest and additional info, GUEST,viofam08.
