Thomas- Yes he does perform on that album (Hoot at the Limelight). I was on it also, doing among other things, a duet with Judy Collins, "The Little Turtle Dove." That's the one beginning, "Fare thee well my dear, I must be gone..." Gooper was there, and I think Eric Weisburg. The album was being done as a "Dime Store Record," to be sold for 99 cents. We all were allowed by our regular recording companies to be on this album if our names were not given. It was hard times- even Judy had to worry about paying her rent! We were all paid union scale for the session. Which was fine, as I don't think the album nor its companion, "Come On In, We're Pickin and Singin," ever sold much! But we had a good time getting together and making the music. One other clue. We have a photo which George did at the first or second Newport Festival (while we were still doing it in the Newport tennis courts). It's a group of us trustees sitting together, Theo Bikel, Clarence Cooper, Pete Seeger and I (Jean R). An informal meeting as I recall. So- it could have been 1959, or one in the early sixties? If interested, the photo is number 5 from the bottom of the group shown as, "George Pickow's Gallery of Performers," on the website, www.jeanritchie.com Good Old Days!
