Although previously attending singarounds, I officially popped my cherry at 36 (you said younger, not young) at a 'proper' folk club with 'The Jolly Bold Robber' and 'Back Home in Derry' last year.

BTW, do we always have to have the snide comments when referring to 'younger' ones such as 'They are screwing up Beatles and Oasis songs at open mics.'. Even if some people are, are they any different than the 50 and 60 somethings screwing up Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones songs at karaoke's?
