I have the five-album Riverside set. Each album has a ten- or eleven-page booklet of notes bound into the sleeve. The booklets are full-size (12 x 12), so it's not possible to scan them on my page-size flatbed scanner. It would require taking themm someplace with a bigger scanner and making about 50 pages of copies -- a tedious process that would probably take an entire afternoon to complete. The notes on the albums say "Produced in association with The Folklore Press," so I strongly suspect that the notes in the record booklets are the same as the headnotes in the 1956 Folklore Press edition of Child: here. Your best bet for finding those notes would probably be to ask your local library to find the Folklore Press edition of Child for you through inter-library loan. Or you could buy a used set -- there are several listed at used.addall.com ranging from $150 to $600 for the three volumes (containing the five original volumes).
