Congratulations on getting a real gem.... I had the distinct pleasure of seeing these guys play every week at the Grimsby Folk Song Club from around 1968..... I got the album back then and almost wore it out! Pete Mundey moved to Germany in the early 70's and passed away a few years later. Mike Lee, who had sung with the "Graingers" joined the band as a replacement and he passed away later that decade. Tom Smith and Brian Dawson passed on, by osmosis, their many tunes and traditional songs and Bill and John were and are my songwriting heroes. They were amazing 'live' and Bills introductions to the songs and unsuspecting floor singers was legendary....He once introduced me as Grimsby's answer to the Post Office Tower (I'm 6'4"....or at least I was back then). I feel I had a wonderful apprenticeship with these guys and will always be grateful for their kindness towards this spotty guitar player who thought he could play "Anji".
