hank, I liked your post about feeling sad when you see a house with kids that has valuable antiques in it. My mother used to say she didn't want new furniture because then she'd feel nervous about letting the kids play on it. Once we all grew up, she got new furniture. But all their lives, kids came first for both of my parents.
