Is this a de-cluttering club? May I join? Truly I need to. The office up here is cluttered with YEARS of piles. Last year I moved a table into the living room and brought just the files I needed to start cleaning up David's business mess (he did great at selling the stone and getting it to the customer, but the billing just never happened...for YEARS! Piles of paper. I just realized that I can actually move myself to the other side of the desk now (where he used to sit). It is closer to the stove, and I wouldn't have to fight my way through the jungle I moved indoors when frost threatened. Then there is his clothes....and the barn (I DID manage to declutter that to the point of being able to run a cart from one end to the other. I found parts of the floor I had not seen in years. Also got the inside of the chicken house sheathed in HDPE sheets. Replace the awful fibreboard with all the holes. Of course, with no holes, there is no place to put eggshells from eggs the chickens eat...

My mother says "just spend 10 minutes every night putting stuff away" and I say "There IS NO AWAY!!!"

Is there a market for mens' clothes? He had some nice stuff.

And if anyone is running through Vermont, I would trade tea and scones for some conversation and decluttering.

Yeah, it's lonely.
