Well, we've been having a Second Saturday singing Session for the last 3 years and it is reckoned to be a good night. It has developed into a Concertina session from 5 to 7 ish then a break for Tea and the singing usually starts around 8 until we get sung out around 1 or 2am. Sometimes we have people staying over. We have had a "Master class" with K K on the tina . Dont be scared ,try it ,it is a wonderful feeling when you get so many lovely people enjoying themselves. There is always a lot more talking about the songs than you ever get in a Folk Club and people are a lot more willing to try the Ballads . The Dining room and Kitchen are only 12x12 and 15x12 so the limit is about 20 ish. ps No melodeons are allowed.
