Interesting last post. I've had a problem with shoulder pain over the years, which sometimes goes right down into my fretting hand. Messing around with tunings to help I came up with DGDGAE. This has a lot of two fingered chords - Em C D G A7 and inversions. I thought it was an invention but found references to it on the net as 'Old Spanish tuning'. cheers KP
