Becca, the boys are fine, sneaking in five-second bats at the tree ornaments - takes about five seconds for them to get noisy enough for husband to notice and bellow at the guilty party. Then they either 'hide' behind the tree, or under a wooden chair and stare fixedly at him for another five minutes.

As for feral new kitty, I am ready to grab and package whenever my friend makes it down, which should be soon. I just hope the new owner has enough patience for this little kitty, because a new place is going to put it in a fit of the skitties, for sure.

I sure understand how people end up out in the country with two dozen ferals living in their back forty. It isn't a good thing, necessarily, but I see how it happens. :(
