Sue, I am indeed thinking of the Gaughan tune. I'm just commenting that "The Primrose of the wood wants a name" fits very awkwardly to the music that goes with "Oh, but her love, it was easy won." Otherwise, that tune works fine...but fully a quarter of the song is repetitions of that line, so it had better fit. "The rose in the greenwood, it wants a name" fits better, but it's less beautiful. So that's the kind of alteration we're all talking about...just that line. Otherwise, minimal tweaking required.
