Hillheader Lyr Req: Shake a Hand (Jose Feliciano) (9) Lyr Add: SHAKE A HAND (from Jose Feliciano) 09 Jan 09

Finally managed to get the You Tube link to play and decipher the (English) words to "Shake the Hand"

Here they are - or my best attempt at them!!

-----------------------------------------

I don't believe I understand
You know I don't believe I understand
Why no one seems to love the child who'll give but won't demand
There's music playing there so join the band

Shake the hand, shake the hand, shake the hand.
Come on give out more than what they say you can
Put the pieces all together on a rock instead of sand
Help the man complete his plan, shake the hand.

I don't believe that peace won't really come
I don't believe that peace won't really come
When every single soul can say his work is really done
When life is one for all and all for one

Shake the hand, shake the hand, shake the hand.
Come on give out more than what they say you can
Put the pieces all together on a rock instead of sand
Help the man complete his plan, come shake the hand.

I don't believe there's any other way
I don't believe there's any other way
To light that darkened road that winds across another day
Except to make a stand and finally say

Shake the hand, shake the hand, shake the hand.
Come on give out more than what they say you can
Put the pieces all together on a rock instead of sand
Help the man complete his plan, come shake the hand.

Thanks again to Nerd for the earlier response. It clear that this is not a translation of Que Sara, Que Sara, Que Sara as sung by Jose Feliciano.

Cheers all
