I think I have the old Poole record with "Sunny Tennessee"on it, but I'd have to dig it out. Some years ago, someone had asked me to help with early old-time songs for a planned Broadway play (it didn't happen), and I went to Moe Asch to ask for the loan of some old 78s from the appropriate era. Moe just went to a shelf, took down about a dozen 10" records, put them in a paper bag and said, "Here- you can keep them. NO charge!" So, I came home and did my research, then put them in "a safe place," as they're quite fragile.....haven't seen them since.

Now, if I ever DO find the Charlie Poole, should I put it in our auction?
Advice, please.                      Jean
