I first met Matt over thirty years ago at the Fox and Hounds folk club in Whittlebury, Northants, and I've played and sung there and at the Song Loft a bit over the years. I got to know him more when I ran 'Shire Folk'and he was always helpful to me - he never missed a copy date! He was an inspiration and a friend to many people and he will be sadly missed by all. My sympathy and condolences to Jane. Chris Mills
