Hi John Yes, I have been digitising most of Bushland Dreaming. I actually rather like the speeding up, as it makes it just that little bit "edgy" and gives it a slightly frenetic energy which, I think, works really well. You may also be interested to know that, a few years ago now, the opportunity came up to earn extra points in a trivia night in which I was taking part by reciting one of a number of well-known Australian bush poems, including, as it happens, "How McDougall Topped the Score". Having listened to your version on Bushland Dreaming many times in the past, I managed to astonish / mesmerise the entire audience by reciting it from memory and by adopting aspects of your phrasing, pacing, etc. It brought the house down, that's for sure! I still love listening to your version, even now. It's a fantastic example of performance poetry at its very best. Cheers DJB
