Dear My guru always said, Many thanks for your kind message. All of us down here were equally blessed in having Brian as a friend and, if the situation had been reversed, I know full well that Brian would have done the same for me. He was highly regarded and much loved by his friends and fellow musicians, not only here in Cornwall, but in also in other parts of the Celtic world. He also took great joy in planting and growing things, but did not have a garden of his own, so he took on and really transformed my rather neglected garden. When I received the news of his death there was snow on the ground here and the green shoots of bulbs he'd planted last year were just peeping through their snow blanket. It sorely grieves me that he will never see them bloom. His "Cornish Family" of friends and acquaintences will ensure he gets a "Proper Job" send off next Friday. In the continuing absence of blood relatives, I have received permission to collect his ashes and there will be another ceremonial gathering of his friends, at a later date, to scatter his ashes in the Perranporth Valley where, for many years, he and his beloved dog "Rainbow" so thoroughly enjoyed their daily rambles.
