I'm loving the different versions. I live in NY and my dad taught me a very similar song, though simplified, from a camp he went to when he was a teen (several decades ago). Now the song my whole family is singing is: Chikaraka che chi cho chikoloro bongo loro pikiwikiwako hoco poko hit him on the coco cherryby, cherryby che chi cho! -It's great to hear of other people who know the song, or at least a few different versions of it!
