I love the Discovery Channel show Cash Cab, If you have not seen it is worth a look if you like trivia games, cabs , or the streets of Manhattan. It is a trivia game played in a cab on the streets of Manhattan. I mis-spent much of my youth on that very island.

Usually the entire cab ride on this show takes place south of 49th street, most often in and around the Village. Today Cash Cab drove up Park Ave into the 80's and went left at 86th, (Now in my old stomping grounds) then south on fifth for a block and 1/2, by the 86th St transverse. There the victorious contestants exited the cab, captured by a curbside camera that was pointed across 5th Ave at the Stone Wall that defines Central Park. From the angle the cameraman used I realized, if one looked carefully one could see the bench in the park where almost every morning I while I was going to NEARBY High School I met with the gang to smoke pot.
Went to school in the Hash Cab I guess.
