Sleepy Rosie Themed CD's of Traditional Songs (24) RE: Themed CD's of Traditional Songs 09 Mar 09

I like the look of the Songs of Witchcraft and Magic, and the Iron Muse looks jolly interesting too..

Some Manchester based friends of mine would love the Lancashire Songs.
And on a tangent is there an equivalent collection of songs from East Anglia?

Anglo: "Thing is, it sort of depends on what themes you might be interested in."

Well, I guess I'm not all that sure until I see them, or have them reccomended to me. I'm sure there are LOTS of themed collections out there, what I'm interested in is hearing of other peoples *favourites.* Though collections of traditional songs of seasonal celebration might be very interesting. Which I think is approximately what 'You Lazy Lot of Bone-Shakers' covers.
