They say the third time is charmed, so here I go, again. This is another tune I only heard in the Wexford area, and only 2 verses. If anyone knows the correct name, or more verses I would appreciate it ever so much. Bring me a rose in the wintertime, When they are hard to find. Bring me a rose in the wintertime, I've got roses on my mind. Love is sweet, anytime, and yet, Bring me a rose in the wintertime, How easy we forget. The next verse began with, "Bring me your love in your later years, When love is hard to find," and the rest is forgotten. It is a lovely song. Wish I had sung it more often now.
