Whiskey was invented in Ireland. When the Irish opened up the first distillery in Scotchland, The tight fisted Quilt wearing landowner would mot pay for the "E" in the big sign erected at the entrance. The Sign Letters cost 2 scotch shillings each!!! The Bloke selling the sign letters sold the left over Es to wothington's brewey for half price. Now you know!
