There's a listener supported radio station in Hunterdon County, NJ, that, among other things, has some good country music. On Monday mornings, there's a show specializing in what they call "Independent Country", meaning country music issued by small labels, that still understands that fiddles and steel guitars are part of the music. Good country music exists, but it'll never get played on commercial stations. The radio station, by the way, broadcasts over the internet, at www.wdvrfm.org.
