Well as a web designer myself I agree yes it is a large image for the home page. I did not however design the website they did it themselves and I actually think for a homedone website it is pretty good! Looks nice and gives a good impression.
I have seen worse ones done by people that claim to be a website designers and charge for it. But yes there are technical issues with the website but not my place to say.
I personally dont really have an issue with it on my broadband and I am miles from the exchange and run on snail pace broadband.
Hmmm, a John Conolly song springs to mind...

Back on topic of the New Folk Club....
Thank you to everyone who turned up it was a great first night and the pub look forward to seeing more of you at the singaround on the 20th April.
Sorry for my poor MC skills, we are currently looking for someone to take it on as an MC... Applications welcome, lol!
