I wanted to thank EVERYONE here , Genie, Marion, everyone for being so helpful by contributing to this forum. I am an alto sax player and am just beginning the journey of acquiring gigs in this "circuit" if you will. Many of the musicians in my area do not like competition from musicians that play the same instrument as them so I am looking into this as I do need money and it is a wonderful service to provide for the elderly as well. And yes, I do realize I will have to "tone it down" in terms of the jazzy-ness and bebop elements to more recognizable standards and sing-alongs. Thanks everyone!
