Someone sent me a link to this thread so I thought I'd say hello, and update you. Popeluc, after resting for 8 years, did a short reunion tour in 2005 which went very well. The following year we did one gig together and Lucy and Popicu appeared at a festival in Wales. After that, due to 'personal problems' we drew a line under it for ever. Lucy is not playing at all at the moment due to health problems. A great loss. I am still ploughing my lonely furrow as an itinerant folk singer and storyteller. I'm concentrating on English material again now but I learned an awful lot from playing the Transylvanian music and especially from visiting there.
