folkwaller Bury St. Edmunds sessions (87* d) RE: Bury St. Edmunds sessions 04 May 09

A busy week coming up. Tomorrow, Tuesday, the very popular singaround at the Flempton Greyhound, 4 miles west of Bury, overseen by the man who seems to pop up everywhere, Dave Cooper, fortunatey. 8.00 'ish. Super.

Wednesday. The ever popular singaround at the Rose and Crown in Bury. Crowds are controlled by Robby and his squirrel. Only here can you actually see how a Sergeant Major would sing a folk song. Also, some of the finest voices in the area turn up here. 8:45 'ish. Attention!! Super.

Friday at the cafe 2:30 'till 5:00 pop in whilst shopping, have a coffee, sing, dance, recite or just listen. Very friendly, sometimes there's a banjo player but don't let that put you off. Super.

Check the Milkmaid.
