Hi all, I had an opportunity to try a friend's bowed psaltery and found out that it doesn't require the left hand. My left hand is impaired. Anyway, I am heavy into celtic music and dance and thought MAYBE I could get one of these and use my music book for the whistle (can't play that). Now, I know the hammered dulcimer is another option but I would have to try it and see. I would LOVE to learn that as well. So, my question for you all is, am I being unrealistic here? I'd like to find a used instrument that is reasonably priced. Any ideas?
