Quite apart from the recordings of Bert Lloyd, which may not be to everyone's taste even if they're into traditional songs, to see him live was just wonderful. He had such enthusiasm, and an almost impish humour, and made you really listen to the songs he sang, or the music that he collected. Fantastic! Barbara
