'Tis sad but true. I the pub tonight Gay Byrne's (of Late, Late Show fame) new music show was playing in the background. About half way through I was astounded. An act I think called "Reel" came on. The line-up was five lads, bass, bodhran, mandolin, whistle, & pipes (I think). They played a pop-type song with a trad. celtic line-up, they even had the dance steps. Is this the end of traditional music as we know it ?????
