Alice; There is something about folkmusic that makes it sound best when done in a beautiful natural outdoor setting, or in the dead of winter, in a cozy living room with raging fireplace. It sounds like your lake is a natural amphitheater. I can envision a mudcat gathering - hint, hint. I'll volunteer to be the 'camp cookie'. I'll bring my camp dutch ovens and a stash of home grown culinary herbs.
