My brother, when he was a child, refused to eat peas. Beans? No problem. Corn (maize?)? No problem. Carrots? No problem. Peas? I don't eat peas! Tomatoes? No problem. Peas? I don't eat peas! Zucchini (Courgette)? No problem. Peppers? No Problem. Peas? I don't eat peas! Potatoes? No problem. Green Corn (maize?) No problem. Peas? I don't eat peas! You get the scheme? I don't remember whether it was months or years later when my mother once wasn't carefully and didn't take the label off the can in time and my brother found out that the "green corn" (maize?) that he liked so much was just the peas he "didn't eat". My sister and me had been informed - otherwise the thing wouldn't have worked for so long ... Since then, he eats peas ...
