I was just looking up the lyrics for this because I was recording my grandmother singing all her songs she sings. This is so funny. I love seeing this history and how we're all connected. We couldn't remember the middle verse but here is our take on it. There was a poor old Chinaman His name was Chinkachaloochipan His teeth were short and his nails were long and this is the way he walked along (to be said very fast) Chinka cha loo cha loo chi pan Ollipy Ollipy Chinka Chilollipy Chinka cha loo cha loo chi pan Ollipy Ollipy Chinaman [Missing verse] Alas this poor Old Man he died And in his coffin he did lie They sent him away to far Japan And this is the way the coffin ran (to be said very fast again but with the last Chinaman said very slow) Chinka cha loo cha loo chi pan Ollipy Ollipy Chinka Chilollipy Chinka cha loo cha loo chi pan Ollipy Ollipy Chinaman
