postsript: In the long article I just pasted, Brooks starts off with a recommendation for David Goldhill's essay, "How American Health Care Killed My Father," in the current issue of The Atlantic. Goldhill is an HSA proponent too radical for me - so I never referred to it. Wyden Bennett is NOT too radical, even though Brooks (NYT) describes it as "more comprehensive" than Goldhill. (I wonder why Obama is bringing in all the progressive Congresspeople on Tuesday or Wednesday, shortly before his speech.) Good luck to us all!
