The JP Cormier song is actually titled "Kelly's Mountain". It's sort of a Cape Breton bluegrass variant of "El Paso" (Out in the west Texas town of El Paso, I met a girl then I got shot and died"). It gets a great audience response, especially when JP does it--he plays the most incredible flatpicking solo in the original recorded version. He has also recorded an arrangement of it that starts real slow and hymn-like and gets faster n faster n faster; bit of a showoff really--all the tempo and instrument changes distract from the song, which is very strong on its own merits.
