Donuel - Thank you for that account of your neighbor's experience. I was very moved, especially by the image of the recruits carrying the children and creating a protective bubble around them. It is important to protect the future.

You all might be interested in this organization: www.peacefultomorrows.com They are family members of people who died on September 11th, 2001. They formed this group to move from grief to action for peace. They have sent groups to Iraq and Afghanistan to meet with people who have lost family members in this "war on terror". Collaterally damaged families just like their own. This group has a powerful message and the deep commitment to bring it to the rest of the world.
