'Twas over the S&C both last Sat and Sun. 30+ min late Sat. Photographers, Gricers, & the curious & Well wishers were out in their thousands.. literally! Sunday am there were over 100 on Keighley station alone and about 40 at Skipton when it returned in the dark at 8pm. Got a great photo then. The run this coming Sat over the S&C commences at Hellifield where it picks up a train that started in Worcester hauled by a diseasel. It does not however return by that route, comes back over Shap and presumably 60163 comes off at Carnforth and the said diseasel then takes the train back to Worcester.
A word of warning the British Transport Police are getting concerned about and active in dealing with those members of the public who trespass on railway land or wander down the end of the platform ramp. I saw them have words with a couple of chaps a few weeks ago who did these things. And before the odd enthuiast says its not us.. they were enthuiasts. I fear similar actions will incur further restrictions.
I'll try to find the BTP guidance, for I believe they have published it and if it is on the net I'll put a link on. Also if any one can tell me how to upload the pic I got Sunday Night to this thread I'll do that.
