Dearest Friends, Kit & Cutter @ the Deptford Arms, 17th October, doors 8pm £5/£3 entry: Peta Webb & Ken Hall and Ed Hicks Peta Webb & Ken Hall: http://www.mustrad.org.uk/reviews/webbhall.htm Peta and Ken got together to explore the rich sounds of a cappella singing, drawing on the American Brother duets of the 1940s as well as British and Irish traditions. Ed Hicks: http://www.fredwoodbear.com/ Ed is an excellent banjo player and performs in various guises (with Sam Lee and Michael Wright as part of the Gillie Boys, as part of a Belgian Klezmer Brass Band and has sung for a Dixieland clown trio). On top of the usual malarky - floor spots, sing-a-longs, D.I.S.C.O, cheap booze and raffle - we will also have a NEW BANNER! Love from K&C x
